In May, I began to use an ancient medium that was completely new to me: Egg Tempera. The technique is very different from my usual acrylic paintings. On a palette, you combine pure powdered pigment with egg yolk and create your paint as you use it.<\/p>\n
The paint is applied in overlapping veils of color and the color can be “pure” or by layering different colors, can mix optically. I will post some photos of my egg tempera paintings. I have complete 15 in June and July and I will post photos of some in the near future.<\/p>\n
